Meeting Religious Leaders in Ambon, Prabowo For Indonesian Paradox Books
WartaJurnal. Presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto met a number of religious leaders in Ambon City on Friday.
The first meeting was at the head office of the Maluku Protestant Church (GPM) at 10.30 until 11.00 WIT.
In a meeting attended by the Chairperson of the GPM Daily Workers' Assembly (MPH), Rev. A.J.S Werinussa, Prabowo submitted a book entitled Paradox Indonesia which was the fruit of his thoughts on the condition of the Indonesian people.
"This is just ordinary hospitality. At the same time in the Christmas momentum," Prabowo said briefly.
After that, Prabowo continued his trip to the office of the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of the Maluku Province.
Prabowo also submitted the same book to the management of the Maluku MUI, while asking that the scholars in Maluku be able to pray for him during the 2019 Election.
For Prabowo, the ulama is the successor to the treatise, which has an important role in the Indonesian nation.
"The title of our book is the Paradox of Indonesia which is a collection of findings over a dozen years which are then summarized into my strategic view," Prabowo said.
The findings summarized in the book, seen various irregularities and inequalities that have occurred in the country of Indonesia since the 70 years of independent Indonesia, still experience the main problems planted by foreign invaders.
"Our wealth does not live in the republic, but our wealth flows out. This is in my opinion is the responsibility of our nation's elite," Prabowo said.
After carrying out a series of meetings, Prabowo and his entourage then headed to the Alfatah Mosque for Friday prayers.
Monitoring on the field, the atmosphere of the Friday Prayer this time was quite different from before. There are so many congregations that some are determined to pray in the parking lot because they no longer get the place
"This is like Ied prayer, very different," said Mohas, one of the Friday congregations who always offered prayers at Alfatah.
After the prayer a number of residents scrambled to shake hands with Prabowo. The security fence didn't stop the congregation from greeting Prabowo.
