Prabowo's Time Doesn't Matter When KPU Appoints Ira Koesno to Become Moderator for Presidential Election Debate
KolomFakta. Coordinator of the Spokesperson of the National Winning Body (BPN) Prabowo-Sandi, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak received the KPU's appointment of Ira Koesno and Imam Priyono as moderators of the first presidential election debate on January 17, 2019. Although Ira Koesno's name was proposed by the Jokowi-Ma'ruf team, he believes that any of the moderators will be professional.
"Ira Koesno proposed is not a problem. We think that the debate has a code of ethics," Dahnil said at the KPU office, Jalan Imam Bonjol, Central Jakarta, Friday. Dahnil believes that each debate moderator in the presidential election has a code of ethics that cannot be violated. Moreover, broadcast debates are highlighted by the public.
"If there are kinds of moderators, trying to get acrobatics to appear, own performances, own shows, I think it's risky. And the public is watching," he said.
The former Ketum PP Pemuda Muhammadiyah also did not question who the moderator was at the second to final presidential debate. As long as it has been properly selected and can be reconciled together.
"We even joked, from Metro TV, who for example later. Even if Mr. Surya Paloh proposed there was no problem. We joked it like that. What is clear is that there is a code of ethics," he said.
